Fun around Atlanta

Here is some fun we've had around Atlanta in the past few months:

After all the fun we had strawberry picking we couldn't resist going again for blueberries and blackberries.  The activity is so addicting that the need to keep hunting down the biggest and juiciest berries to fill the buckets leaves us with a freezer full of treats :)

We also were able to collect a few vegetables from our pretty pathetic 'garden'

We enjoyed the summer pool especially since it's so close we can walk there

Vermont in July part 3

One final post from Vermont.  Here are a few photos from the annual lobster bake:

And then it was feasting time

Of course there was a s'mores session!

Chris enjoyed his first s'more ever.  Perhaps he'll bring the tradition back to the UK.

Vermont in July part 2

Here are some more photos from Vermont:
Henry is now quite the kitchen helper! Aunt Linda and Henry baked some delicious bread

And Henry and Elliot helped make some cookies

 And the boys helped me make cupcakes for the bar-b-que.

We did another round of catching crawfish and the boys checked on the bounty a number of times before we finally let all the critters go. 

And we also spent ample time on the lake. Elliot keeps reminding me that he went out on a boat  when we were in Vermont and Henry likes to get excited about the fact that he swam back from the floating dock all by himself (aided by a life jacket). The paddle board continues to be a big hit with everyone.

This year Bob brought out the sail boat. With Henry's growing confidence in the distances he can swim, he had to show that he could also swim back from the boat.

And there is always fun to be had on the dock, especially with Fish's BIG JUMP!!
